ABOUT OUR COUNCIL
St. Mary's Council #3790 was instituted on February 21, 1954. Meetings were held in the basement of
St. Mary's School. Ground for the current K of C Hall was broken on September 13, 1957, with a
dedication banquet held on January 26, 1958. Council #3790 has been involved in all phases of
activities promoted by the Knights of Columbus on all levels. Fund-raising activities include the annual
Tootsie Roll Drive for the mentally handicapped, Lenten fish fries that benefit various charities and
causes, an annual washer tournament to benefit Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, and
many others. We take great pride in our service to the church, school, youth and community.

followed by the meeting at 7:00PM.

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See,
who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God
and the precepts of the Church. Application forms are available at the K of C hall or contact any officer.
As a member of the Knights of Columbus you and your family enjoy many benefits, including 12 free
issues annually of the Columbia magazine (the world's largest Catholic family magazine), eligibility to
join the Knights of Columbus top-ranked life insurance program, and many more family and personal
benefits.

HALL RENTAL
The KC Hall can be rented for showers, receptions, parties, etc. Rental fee is $50 for KC members and
$100 for non-members. Please call 826-3316 to reserve the hall in advance.
